I am a graduate of Old Saybrook High School in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, where I would have made more art but the cool kids were kind of hanging out in the art department and using up all the oxygen.  Then I graduated from Yale University with a history degree (questions about the Industrial Revolution?  I'm your man).  So now that I'm a grown-up (at least on paper) I am sending myself to art school, specifically the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in Old Lyme, Connecticut (going to graduate in May!). It is a fantastic school with a talented faculty and a special way of developing each student artist individually.  If you're not lucky enough to take classes there, you should at least try to attend the student and faculty shows.  Amazing work.

My real job is as Marketing Director and Partner at Diastole Wealth Management in Guilford, Connecticut.  My partners in the business are brilliant at what they do, and very understanding about my need to paint every chance I get.
