On July 13, 2012, my three-artist exhibit, Kaleidoscope, will open at the UConn Stamford Art Gallery.  My fellow exhibitors are Jennifer Wheeler and Susan Nichols, both friends from Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts.  Although our works are quite different from each other's, we are all exploring our pasts and our childhoods as seen through the kaleidoscope of time and experience.  I hope you will come join us!  Our artist's reception is being held on Thursday, August 30th from 4 - 6 p.m.

Three of my pieces were in the faculty-selected Summer 2011 show at Lyme Academy in Old Lyme, Connecticut.  The exhibition closed in September.  In fact, my painting Polka Dot #2 was featured on the school home page during the exhibit.  (You can see it on this website on the Polka Dot page.)

One of my paintings was chosen for the 100th annual Juried CAFA (Connecticut Association of Fine Artists) show at the Mystic Arts Center this Summer.  I didn't actually like the painting very much, and I'm not sure why I submitted it, except it was done and framed, but I am quite gratified that it was selected by juror Joy Pepe.  Just another example of how our art has meaning for others that we never saw coming.

Food for Thought, my joint exhibit with photographer Karen Sabath, showed at Noka's Upstairs Gallery in Katonah, New York in August.
